1,412 inhabitants. The municipality of Fonollosa, which has existed since 950, is located on the southern slope of the Serra de Castelltallat, in the valley where a stream of the same name flows, a tributary of the Cardener River. It includes four distinct entities: Fonollosa, Fals, Camps and Canet de Fals, the latter being the most populated. In addition to its impressive living crib - el Pessebre Vivent del Bages - in which about 250 extras have participated each year since 1977 (between mid-December and early January), the monumental ensemble of the towers of Fals and the necropolis of Camps (Necròpolis de la Plaça de la Creu) are worth noting. The "Roques del Diable" are one of the geological features that visitors can observe in Fonollosa. In the area, the remains of a small primate that was one of the few survivors of the great extinction that occurred between the Eocene and Oligocene geological eras have also been found.
