Built then opened in 1995 by the Universal Studios, Tussauds Group and Ansheuser-Bush groups, Port Aventura Park became the largest theme park in southern Europe, with a lot of 120 hectares of land. 20 years and some international distinctions later (the fastest Russian mountains in Europe for attraction Furius Baco in 2007, the highest Russian mountains in Europe for the attraction Shambhala in 2012), the park changes its name and continues to expand: now named PortAventura World Parks & Resort opened in 2017 - in addition to Port Aventura World theme park and the Port Aventura Caribe Aquatic Park - a new space dedicated to the famous Italian cars, Ferrari Land Park!As far as the main park, Port Aventura World, is concerned, it has about 6 attractions distributed in universes offering visitors a journey through time and space: Mediterrània, Polynesia, China, Mexico, Far West and Sésamo Aventura (this latter area inspired by the TV program "1 Sesame Street" and created in 2011 is intended for families). For fans of strong sensations, some of these attractions should not be missed like the Dragon Khan, the only Russian mountain in Europe to perform eight loops at more than 110 km/h; the recent Russian Montagnes Mountains and its 78 metres of fall (higher Europe, record that is being beaten by the new Ferrari Park); or the Furious Baco, reaching 135 km/h while performing a powerful tendrilless!There is also a tropical atmosphere with a tropical Atmosphere named Caribe Aquatic Park with giant pools (including one in waves), slides and many aquatic attractions.In one word: everyone has fun, family or friends, and a day seems to be the minimum for this amusement park; the ideal would be for two days. All the more so as the housing offers inside the park are quite good, as are the various restoration proposals. A short tour, hang your belt!
