Situated along the Saône, Seurre is the town from which Bossuet originated. Today, with a population of 2,300, it is a land of heritage, where pretty brick houses stand side by side with an old market hall and the Saint-Martin church. It's also a town where nature is omnipresent, with the Ville Fleurie label. It's also home to the famous EuroVélo6 cycle route, a campsite and a lovely motorhome park. A guinguette, open from May to October, adds to the town's appeal, offering a choice of restaurants and gourmet breaks. In Seurre, the nautical base is particularly renowned for the quality of its activities in summer.
