Located in the heart of the French waterways, Saint-Jean-de-Losne benefits from a privileged situation on the banks of the Saône at the intersection of 7 river routes (from the North Sea to the Mediterranean, from the Atlantic to the Danube delta). Once a home port for bargemen, the city cultivates its appeal through its marina. With its 36 hectares of land and 20 hectares of water, it is one of the smallest cities in France, but thanks to its flow of boaters it is known throughout Europe. But Saint-Jean-de-Losne is also a dense network of cycle routes and greenways, which are a joy for cycling and walking enthusiasts.
