A town of 10,000 inhabitants located on the banks of the Ribadeo river, the natural border between Asturias and Galicia. It is home to an eminent example of "Indiana" architecture, the Torre dos Moreno, built in 1914 in a modernist style. The beach of As Catedrais and its rocks sculpted by erosion are a beautiful walk when the tide is low. Leaving the port of Porcillán, we reach the lighthouse of the island Pancha and we can discover the ruins of the castle of San Damián along the way. Every year, on the first Sunday of August, a popular festival is held in the country, celebrating the gastronomy and traditional music.
