This charming fishing village of about 1,000 inhabitants is better known for its Celtic World Festival, launched in 1978, than for its other advantages. And yet, it offers a pleasant stroll through its old quarter, barrio do Ponto, with its narrow streets and white houses highlighted with granite. On the heights of the village, do not miss the famous houses of the Indianos, which enjoy a magnificent panorama of the steep coast. The Ria d'Ortigueira is a beautiful natural environment, which is a special area for the protection of birds. Another must-see is the Ortiguera pie. To be enjoyed while watching the birdlife
