This village has preserved its fine 17th and 18th century half-timbered houses, its 17th century water mill and its 16th century church. Worth a visit are the Renaissance sacristy door and the altar surmounted by an 18th-century painting depicting St. Stephen being stoned to death. Boating enthusiasts know Boofzheim best for its marina, which allows them to discover the region in a different way, on the 320 kilometers of canal dotted with almost 160 locks. Boats are available for hire. A few kilometers away, Daubensand stands out above all for the richness of its Ried environment.
