From the shores of Bellano, you can admire the entire coastline from Menaggio to Dongo. The main reason for coming here is the Orrido (Ravine), a gorge formed by the tumultuous waters of the Pioverna River, which carved out a deep ravine over 15 million years. Also known as the Cà del Diavol, it evokes fears and satanic rites in the collective imagination, making the Orrido's mysterious charm all the more palpable. The place is particularly popular in summer, when it's warm and cool. For your information, this is a paying site, with an entrance fee of €6. Opening times vary according to the season.
