It is a very pretty village on the edge of a lake. The castle of Graines is a typical Romanesque defensive structure whose appearance was defined in the 11th century. Its main elements are a high square tower, crenellated, a chapel and a surrounding wall that encloses a vast space without buildings. Do not miss the Yonzo House. It is the current seat of the library and belonged to the Yonzo family in the 17th century. On its western façade, a cross bearing the symbols of the martyrdom of Jesus Christ can be seen. An ancient fresco decorates the balcony. Founded in the 15th century, the parish church was rebuilt between 1870 and 1873 in its present form The symbol of the village, the small artificial lake of Brusson obtained by means of a dam of the Evançon torrent is surrounded by a large tourist area including a playground for children, a picnic area and even a beach volleyball court. Enough to spend a day at the beach... in the mountains!
