Away from the world, far from everything, is a small village that can only be reached on foot or by cable car from the hamlet of Buisson above Antey-Saint-André. It is Chamois, at 1,800 m altitude, with beautiful mountain pasture landscapes surrounded by peaks. 187 souls live there all year round, and, uniquely, no cars drive through its streets. The ideal place for a relaxing stay, away from noise and stress! In addition to the capital Corgnolaz and the many other hamlets with typical architecture, the village offers downhill and cross-country ski slopes and many hiking routes. Just a few kilometres away, La Magdeleine is another village set in a green and unspoilt setting, accessible by car and linked to Chamois by means of paths and forest tracks.
