Composed of numerous hamlets and villages nestled on a beautiful, panoramic and sunny plateau at the entrance to the Valtournenche, Torgnon is a small, family-sized tourist resort that has not disturbed the natural environment around it. In winter, numerous downhill, cross-country and snowshoeing trails criss-cross its forests and mountain pastures. But it is designed for families with children beginners: the station has only twelve ski runs. In summer, its green setting is criss-crossed by numerous hiking trails. Further down, the village of Antey-Saint-André houses the competent tourist office.
