The country's largest national park is perhaps also the one with the most impressive scenery. It has two large lakes of glacial origin and impressive peaks such as Cerro Torre and its highest point, the Fitz Roy at 3,400 m. The park is dotted with immense glaciers: the most famous is the Perito Moreno, followed by the Upsala glacier, the longest and most extensive. All these glaciers, as well as the Mayo, Onelli and Agassiz glaciers, lead to Lake Argentino. On the other side of the park, the Viedma glacier and the Torres glacier lead to the eponymous lake. All these glaciers come from the "Southern Continental Ice", the largest continental ice cap in the world, which covers nearly 10,000 km².
