Travel Guide Puyehue

The municipality of Puyehue can be reached from Osorno, by the ruta 215 that connects the province to Argentina by the international passage Puyehue (or Cardenal Samoré). This passage allows to reach the cities of San Carlos de Bariloche and San Martin de los Andes. The municipality is rich in natural sites of great beauty: the National Park of Puyehue, with the thermal baths of Puyehue and Aguas Calientes, the ski resort of Antillanca, as well as several lakes, among which Rupanco and Puyehue; this last one gives birth to the Pilmaiquén river. The shores of Lake Puyehue are equipped with various tourist infrastructures and the southern sector has many hotels and campgrounds.
