Travel Guide Isla Tenglo

This beautiful island is located in front of the city of Puerto Montt. It can be reached by boat, through the Tenglo canal, from Angelmó. The crossing is provided by fishermen for a very small fee. Meeting point is on the small pier at the entrance of the Angelmo market. The further away from the coast you go, the more nature regains ground and offers you a panoramic view of the town. The crossing lasts about five minutes and once you have disembarked, you will have the opportunity to go for a short walk. From the top of the island, where a cross stands, you can admire Puerto Montt and the entire hinterland dominated by the volcanoes of the cordillera.
