Off-the-beaten-track walks and treks, perfect for discovering Chile's Lago del Desierto, Huemul Glacier and Villa O'Higgins

Navigation on the Lago del Desierto. Between Punta Sur and Punta Norte, twice a day in summer from Punto Sur; count 40 minutes crossing and 2 hours 15 min round trip.

Trek to the Huemul glacier. The trail starts 200 m before reaching the lake at the foot of the glacier. There is an entrance fee. Count 2 hours of walking there and back.

Towards Villa O'Higgins in Chile: Adventurers who wish to continue have this possibility: superb trek off the beaten track.
