Circuits requiring several hours' walking, ideal for discovering La Laguna Toro and the glacier tunnels

From Chaltén to the Laguna Toro camp, it is 15 km and about 6 hours walk.

At one point along the way, on the right, a path is indicated to the Loma del Pliegue Tumbado (literally, "the mound of the fallen fold"). Deviation of about 2.5 km, count 1 hour 40 min of ascent (420 m of difference in altitude).

From the camp to the Paso del Viento (1,550 m above sea level), it takes 7.5 km and 6 hours and 30 minutes of climbing (800 m of difference in altitude). It is possible to continue to Paso Huemul with a guide.
