Located in the south of the Lassithi plateau between Tzermiado and Psychro. The small village of Agios Georgios is the second most important of the plateau with its 550 inhabitants. As everywhere here, its inhabitants live mainly from agriculture (vineyards, fruits, potatoes) and tourism. With its few pensions, this village is surely the nicest option if you want to spend the night on the plateau of Lassithi. Less commercial and thus calmer, it will reserve you a more authentic reception, especially as few tourists decide to spend the night here. However, its inhabitants are very hospitable and will not make you regret it.
