At 41 kilometres from Corfu, Sidari is an important holiday resort, bordered by beautiful sandy beaches and tourist facilities, which probably takes away some of its charm. You can reach it either by the roads crossing the mountain, or by following the east coast and then the north coast via Kassiopi. Here lies the longest beach on the island (8 kilometres). Unfortunately, the village has little charm. Further west is Sidari, which has been populated since Neolithic times. It is today a seaside resort with no other interest than its beaches. One of the main beauties of the site is the natural passage formed by its "Canal d'Amour".
