Vori is on the Agia Galini-Mires road, with frequent buses every day in either direction. Next to Agia Triada, this village is not of particular interest in itself, but it is home to the most important folklore museum in Crete and as such is worth a visit to discover the past and/or enduring traditions for which Cretan life is famous. Indeed, the island is known for the permanence of its folklore in contemporary life. The Cretans are particularly proud - with good reason! - of their patrimonial and matrimonial heritage, passed from generation to generation. A truly fascinating visit.
