Situated on a green hill, Telti is a quiet village, recently built around two chapels in the heart of the Gallura forests. The village is close to Tertium, an ancient Roman military station on the road to Olbia. After being partially destroyed during the long war between the Aragonese and the Judges of Arborea, it was abandoned before rising from its ashes around 1800. It was developed in the 18th century around the church of Santa Victoria and the Duomo pizza, where you can admire the murals. They represent scenes of the Sardinian daily life of the past and are sometimes accompanied by poems.
