The pretty village of San Pantaleo has become a buen retiro for sculptors, painters and ceramists in search of tranquillity. Set back from the Costa Smeralda, it can be reached via a pleasant panoramic road. The entire village pays homage to this saint, whose cult has deep roots in Sardinia. He is celebrated with great pomp between July 27 and 30. In summer, the village's narrow streets and main square come alive. A flea market featuring items made by local artists and craftsmen is held every Thursday, and is not to be missed. San Pantaleo is also a meeting place for hikers and mountain bikers. The surroundings are superb!
