A picturesque fishing port where, in the morning, fishermen clean their nets while dozens of cats watch them. A few rooms in local homes, tavernas along the seafront: you'll find a Greek, family atmosphere here. Visitors in search of authenticity will find a little corner of paradise that seems to have come straight out of the 1960s. The Faros seafront offers a succession of small sandy beaches: shady, mostly family-friendly and shallow. On the other side of the harbor, climbing a hill to the left (looking out to sea), you'll come to Fassolou, a larger beach that's also pleasantly shaded.
