Welcome to Kimolos! Separated by a narrow 900 m channel from Milos (which you can reach by ferry), it's an excursion destination with very limited tourist infrastructure. Psathi is the port of Kimolos: you can reach its quiet bay from Pollonia and Milos, but also from further afield. The arrival of the boats is the rhythm of life in the port, which lies asleep along its pretty sandy beach. A few cafés and tavernas line the waterfront. Overlooking the port of Psathi, the white houses of Chorio are built around a kastro similar to that of Folegandros or Sikinos. Psathi is linked to Chorio by the island's only paved road, which also serves some of the southern and eastern beaches.
