Back on the coast, it is a residential hamlet located between Saint Paul and Mistra Bay, at the bottom of Saint Paul's Bay. Although it has a sandy beach, one quickly realizes that the term "hamlet" is less and less suited to a site where apartment buildings are frankly attacking the hill. From here you can access Mistra Bay, located between Saint Paul's and Mellieha. It is mainly a pebble beach with a small harbour with no buildings except for a small friendly restaurant. Dominated by an old fort, the Selmun Palace, with the spectacle of dghajsas (colourful, typically Maltese fishing boats) swaying in the breeze.
