Located at an altitude of 1,300 meters, this village of 302 inhabitants is also one of the prettiest villages in Spain and has been classified as a historic and artistic site. We will appreciate its small steep streets, sometimes in stairs and its traditional architecture which takes up the three elements that have become iconic of the Alpujarra: the terrao, a flat roof used to store the crops, but also to dry the laundry or to take the cold in summer; the tinao, a kind of porch connecting two houses and covering a street, and the chimenea, a pyramid-shaped chimney, generally topped by a kind of hat. We will take the opportunity to visit its Mudejar style church.
