At the foot of the Sierra de Almijara, this town of Arab origin boasts beautiful beaches and small coves, but is most famous for its cueva (cave), which consists of almost 2 km of underground galleries, and for one of its permanent postcard guests: the Mora aqueduct. This small seaside resort spreads out in a rather thoughtful way over a truly splendid natural site. The highlight is a beautiful promenade with a mirador overlooking the sea, dubbed the "Balcony of Europe" by Alfonso XII in 1885. From here, you can enjoy magnificent views of the coastline. An ideal spot to admire the sunset at the end of the day.
