At just over 1,200 m above sea level, Pîtres is a small, central village on the Alpujarra road. Like its immediate surroundings, this friendly village belonging to the municipality of La Taha offers a number of good accommodation options for those seeking peace and quiet. The village of 419 inhabitants is also emblematic of the region's localities, with its typical dwellings and narrow streets steeped in the Arab past.
