The best way to get to this small town is to take the Tocón road, which offers a beautiful view of the city and its peak of the Villa. On the top of this hill, which dominates the city, there are beautiful Nasrid defensive buildings, planned by the architect of the Alhambra. Today they house the Church of the Villa, a sixteenth-century building in the Gothic style for the shell and Renaissance for the ornaments. In the center of the city, the church of La Encarnación is the one that catches the eye, with its dome in the shape of a perfect circle, which earned it the name of rotunda. Nearby, the Peña de los Gitanos has megalithic dolmens.
