Not far from Curepipe, Floréal, much more than Quatre Bornes, is the residential town of Mauritius, where, in the last century and still to some extent today, successful people had to live. Home to the superb villas of ambassadors and industrialists, it owes its prosperity to Mauritius's largest textile mill, now transformed into a trendy hybrid space for coworking and showcasing local talent (boutiques). Not very touristy, the metropolis also boasts several small shopping centers where you can do a bit of business and a Mauritian gastronomic institution: La Clef des Champs.
