It lies like an oval drop on the white bottom of the West - these vast spaces of lagoon with shallow water and a white sandy bottom - it unfolds its oblong shape close to the coastline, facing the village of La Gaulette. Not very big, still virgin, it is composed of a jumble of shrubs, bordered, on its periphery, by a narrow beach tongue. At the northern end of the oval, the currents have formed a sandbank that extends quite far out to sea and provides a natural backdrop for some very Instagrammable photos. During the day, the island is a favourite spot for all western cruisers to grill their kebabs.
