Livron is leaning against the hills planted with Brézème. The 18th century bridge over the Drôme is listed. During the night of 16 to 17 August 1944, a commando of the Resistance led by Captain Henri Faure blew up an arch, cutting off the retreat of the Germans. This act of bravery was crowned by the victory of Montélimar. The economic activity of Livron has now moved down to the plain, close to the traffic routes, leaving the old village perched on the hillside with all its charm with narrow streets and vaulted passages, beautiful facades and Renaissance doors or the ruins of the collegiate church Saint-Prix which adjoins the cemetery.
