Mentioned as early as 1850, the vineyard of this magnificent château was replanted by the Marchal family in 1975 on an 8-hectare hillside. The Marchals have done a lot for the recognition of Brézème wine. This estate, protected by low walls, is now run by the eleven children of the Marchal family and their descendants. They have wonderfully enhanced the place by planting fruit trees: oaks, kiwis, pear trees, fig trees, apricot trees. You will find at the Brézème cellar in the 3 colours. On this estate you will find fervent defenders of Brézème as it is the oldest private cellar in the appellation, founded in 1981 by Jean-Marie and Sylvette Lombard. This estate extends its vine rows over 10 hectares of Brézème and 2 hectares of Drôme local wine. Organic and biodynamic farming perfectly enhances the grape varieties of this "special" corner of the world: syrah for the reds, marsanne, roussanne and viognier for the whites, with vines planted on semi-slopes, hillsides and terraces.
