Mézilhac has 103 inhabitants and is located at an altitude of 750 m to 1,160 m, within the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park. It is like a lighthouse perched on the plateau at an important crossroads of communication, crossing paths that come from the Rhône Valley and central France towards Le Puy (west-east) and paths that come from the north (Le Cheylard) and the south (Aubenas). Near the watershed between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, "the Mézilhac bell tower oscillates from the Ardèche in butter to the Ardèche in oil", is it customary to say.... Let us add for the sweet beaks that Mézilhac is a blueberry country.
