The village is known for its castle and its bridge. With its five imposing towers with glazed roofs and its five terraces, this castle of medieval origin (XIIIth, then XVIth and XVIIth c.) was modernized in the XVIIIth c. with the addition of a gate and the creation of a French garden which would have been drawn by Le Nôtre. As for the bridge of Chambonas, which spans the Chassezac, it is the largest medieval bridge in the department. You should also see the Romanesque church from the early 13th century, well preserved, which has stained glass windows and a remarkable nave, as well as a sculpted exterior frieze worth a visit. The castle is a private property.
