Travel Guide Evosges

Charming village of Bugey built around its Romanesque church Saint-Martin. It is a privileged place for the hikers who will go up by the paths to the pass of Evosges, but also for the paragliders who find here an area of takeoff. Other natural places to see during his walks: the pond of Buynand, the waterfall of Buire or the cave of the Donkey. The village of Evosges has a beautiful small Romanesque church, cited in the 12th century, which belonged to the abbey of Saint-Rambert. Inside, a curious stone stoup, listed as a historical monument, accompanied by a stone covered with cabalistic signs.
