Ceillac, nestled against the mountain, is one of the eight villages of character in the Queyras and is an integral part of the Regional Natural Park. To get there, you have to pass through the Guil gorges and then take a road that climbs to a green plateau, a former glacier lake. Like all the villages of the Queyras, the atmosphere and the architecture are singular. The church of Saint-Sébastien, dating from the 16th century, and its bell tower with six bells, are noteworthy. Inside you can see, on the north wall of the choir, a fresco which retraces the three scenes of the life of Saint Sebastian.
