Saint-Chamas is a charming town with a lovely freshwater marina on the Etang de Berre. It has narrow streets, old buildings and an old village dominated by imposing cliffs in which troglodytic dwellings can be found. A look at the village will certainly delight you, but it is the famous Flavien bridge, located a little away from the centre, that will bring you here. And rightly so, for this perfectly preserved Roman bridge is one of the most beautiful examples in the Mediterranean world. There is a walking route around the village that takes you to some beautiful sites. This circuit overhangs in particular the pond of Berre.
