Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône is a city located at the mouth of the Grand Rhône. It is the city that is nicknamed the "End of the World" because it is the destination of all European sailors and yachtsmen. Its location has favoured it halfway between Italy and Spain with its six floating ports and two dry ports with 4,400 berths for boats of all types, as well as a fishing port. Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône is often neglected in tourist itineraries. However, its 10 kilometres of fine sandy beaches are frequented even in winter by lovers of snow sports, sand yachts and other funboards.
