The roads are winding and the curves numerous to reach Castagniers. The restanques of secular olives dominated by cypress trees make it a haven of peace. The village is made up of hamlets with evocative names: Les Moulins, La Grotte, La Garde, Le Vignon, Le Cabrier, Le Carretier... The Mill is still in activity (production of honey and olive oil). A path allows you to climb to the top of Mount Cima at 878 m with its superb panorama. Other points of interest are to be explored like the Masage district in the old village, the Saint-Michel church, the Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix abbey, the Cistercian convent and its beautiful garden.
