Known for its dolmens, the fountain of Saint-Pantaleon and its thaumaturgiques virtues, the place remained in the annals of the First Empire because the main road, called "royal", (in "honour" of King Joseph of Spain) was built by deserters from the Spanish army for the passage of the effort. It always connects Toulouse and Paris. At Grèze-high remains an imperial point.
