Loubès-Bernac, a small commune that is quiet in winter but full of life in summer, was created at the time of the Revolution by the merger of four parishes: Bernac, Montaillac, Uffer and Loubes. The four churches built between the 11th and 16th centuries can all be visited. The castle of Théobon, open to visitors in summer, dates from the 14th century. But this village has been inhabited since prehistoric times. The many remains that have been discovered here, such as sarcophagi from the Merovingian period, bear witness to this. Nature lovers are not left out and can enjoy the six hiking trails listed by the Departmental Committee of Tourism.
