In this village in the valley of the Lémance, a castle stood in the 13th century. From 1271 until its ruin, its history was very animated! Attached to England during the Hundred Years' War, or to the lord and baron Guillaume de Bellecombe, this site remains filled with a powerful aura and it is also classified as a historical monument. Cuzorn was also the land of forges and mills. The mills were used to make paper, which the Dutch were very fond of in the 15th century. The quality of the water in the region was such that the paper obtained by maceration was ideal for the navigational maps of the explorers of the time.
