Watered by two tributaries of the Lède, the Mascarde and the Aygue-Rousse, Castelnau-de-Gratecambe was founded in 1256 by Alphonse de Poitiers. The village is situated on a spur overlooking the hills of the Haut Agenais. Take advantage of a stopover to discover its old windmills: Pech Redon mills and Rouzé mill. The latter is perched at the top of a hill and offers a splendid panorama of the valley. Both have been restored as gîtes. The church of Saint-Pierre aux Liens de Cailladelles, built in the 12th century in the middle of the fields, then rebuilt in the 17th century, is also worth a visit. Amateurs: enjoy a beautiful golf course.
