Built on the left bank of the Lède, the village (also unofficially named Le Lédat) is an old priory which takes its name from the river which crosses it. In the centre of the village, grouped around its church, one can admire some very beautiful half-timbered houses dating from the 16th century. The parish church of Saint-Géraud, built in the 12th century on an ancient Roman sanctuary, was rebuilt in the 19th century. Near the Lot, the church of Saint-Martin de Tours, at a place called Campagnac, is worth a visit. Near the Périgord Limousin Regional Nature Park, there are many beautiful walks available. Contact the tourist office of Grand Villeneuvois.
