A charming small village situated near the mountain of La Séranne and the Circus of Navacelles, halfway between Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and Lodeve, La Vaquerie is the starting point for many horse trips. From its past, the village retained some traces: the Aven Barnabé enfonce 311 m in the land, many dolmens and menhirs, the church Notre-Dame of the th century, the house of Bailly, mill des Brésiliers. Modernity is represented by an experimental site of architecture "Cantercel".
