This small village, perched and fortified, deserves a stop. A historical circuit, relayed by explanatory panels, leads through narrow streets and arched alleys to meet a rich past. They discover the ramparts dating from the th century as well as the ruins of the two castles, testimony of the division of Soubès in two coseigneuries. The first, said La Tour, dates from the th century, the second was built between the th and th centuries. Both were bought by individuals, they don't visit. The th century church has a stone square tower. You must go to the cemetery at the entrance to the village to admire a more ancient religious building, the chapel Saint-Cyprien of the th Century. Note the beautiful apse in a cul. The monument to the dead, also in the cemetery, is signed by the sculptor Lodévois Paul Dardé. To finish the visit, go to the Font Botanical Trail, which lists some hundred species.
