In this small village, time stood still in 1969, when the dam that gave life to the Salagou Lake was put in water. All the inhabitants were then expropriated, but the waters stopped at the foot of their houses. It is now on the edge of this 750 ha artificial lake that the village is slowly coming back to life, mainly thanks to the craftsmen. It offers a magnificent view of the lake and can be admired in its entirety from the top of the cirque of Mourèze.
