Very early converted to Protestantism, Lasalle was torn by religious troubles. The original architecture of its temple deserves to be studied. Semicircular in shape, the building has a neoclassical peristyle. In addition to its 16th century bridge over the Salindrenque, this village also has several silk mills, now disused or converted. Today, culture is in the spotlight, notably with two international festivals, DOC-Cévennes and the viola festival, which makes classical music resound throughout the village between master classes and concerts, the last two weeks of August.
