Chamborigaud is a pretty village watered by numerous streams and the Luech river, giving it a special charm. Its 41-arch viaduct, with its unique 200-meter-radius curve, was completed in 1967 and classified as a historic monument in 1984. Marked by the victory of the Camisards in 1703, the village grew in population during the period of major developments in the mining industry. The birthplace of writer Jean-Pierre Chabrol, a 5 km literary trail retraces his life and work. A pumptrack for all levels has recently been installed. The village welcomes many holidaymakers in summer.
