It is along La Lézarde that Rolleville has developed since the 11th century. Even today, the river can still bring difficult times to the city, due to some major floods. Served by the LER train of the LIA network from Le Havre, Rolleville is now the terminus of the line. In the 19th century, pilgrims who went by the hundreds to the ferruginous spring of the Sainte-Clotilde chapel on June 3 were already using this public transport. Today, it is rather hikers who go there, either during the La Lézarde circuit (24.6 km, 6h30), or during the Les Vallons circuit (14.3 km, 3h45), or by following a short itinerary to discover their village which allows you to discover the mill, its communal bread oven in activity, the Saint-Hilaire church whose vault in the central nave is typical of the churches in the region. It should be noted, for lovers of the history of the Pays de Caux, that Father Gilbert Décultot, a great enthusiast and author of books devoted to Rolleville and Montivilliers, was the priest.
